What STARS III Is

The GSA Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services III (STARS III) is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) government-wide acquisition contract managed by the General Services Administration. It is designed to give federal customers fast access to information technology services from a curated pool of small-business contractors.

The vehicle is open to any federal agency with appropriate ordering authority. Task orders can be fixed-price, time and materials, labor hour, cost-reimbursement, or a hybrid. The ceiling is 50 billion dollars over the program's life.
